George was born on February 6, 1973. He too attended University High. When he was thirteen, he visited the dentist to find out he needed braces. He was amazed with the dental tools and the procedures that dentists had to perform. After that day, he knew he wanted to be a dentist. The three friends split up as Sampson and Rameck went off to Med school. George stayed in Newark and was accepted into the University of Medicine and Dentistry. In 1999, he graduated college and became a dentist. Today, George is a faculty member of community health at the University of Medicine and Dentistry.
Rameck was born on May 1, 1973. He was born in Orange, New Jersey, but moved to Newark at age 14 where he lived with his uncle. He attended University High, where he met two people hew would never forget. He convinced his friends George and Sam that they should enter a program at Seton Hall University, which offered education for minorities interested in a career in medicine. When they graduated, they all went their separate ways. Rameck went to Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He graduated in 1999. Rameck went on to become a medical director at St. Peter's University Hospital's How Lane Adult Family Health Center. Which is where he is today.
Even when they went their separate ways to different schools, they visited each other frequently to keep inspiration. Together they created a non-profit organization called The Three Doctors Foundation. They wrote a few books, including We Beat The Street, to tell their story.
